D2 transfer case upgrade to CDL
Hello all,
I have a 2002 Discovery 2 which blew the transfer case after a bad leak in the mountains. I have a replacement from a 2004 donor with CDL that really looks to be in great shape. I want to make sure the seals are good on this one! Can anyone tell me what seals I need to replace. I won't be doing a total tear down. Just the stuff that is absolutely necessary. Part names and #'s would be most helpful. Oh, and are there gaskets for the inspection plates? Or, just high temp sealant? I think this is where the last problem occurred on my original.
