Disco 1 Tranny/trasncer case in Disco II?

It can be done, but it is not as good a t/case as the D2 case since it has not been upgrade as the D2 case has.
Do you have a D2 with a bad case or are you wanting to up-grade to a CDL?
If you just want to add a CDL, then buy the Ashcroft CDL nose assembly and add it to your D2.
