Could that be done with a toggle switch then?
Still have to reset codes each time?

sounds like yes you could add a switch inline to any wheel sensor but I'm not sure on the clearing of the codes.

I'm going to do option B after mine runs again(I got 3 amigos one time before I pulled my engine. I engaged the cdl and they went away. I figured the solder joint was going bad).
I will try a switch while I do option B, and before I seal it back up. I assume I'll have to reset codes, but that's easy enough.
As I agreed above, I don't want to gamble turning the truck off to turn off TC either. Murphy's Law says it doesn't start back at the worst possible time.

+1 on BEST4X4. A while back before I fixed the 3 Amigos with the Option B, I was out wheeling and the 3 amigos popped on. I remember having NO TC...

I actually like spinning tires and a bit of a challenge.
I hope this is tongue-in-cheek.

When would disabling the TC be "required?"

Tongue in cheek, lmao.
No, completely serious.
Drive it like you stole it.
I wish it could be shifted to just real wheel drive so I could drift it. If the surface is slick enough, you can get 4wd sideways, as well as donuts on center...TC messes all that up.

When I originally asked about this in another thread, I wanted to know if basically option B could be done with an inline toggle switch. So you could turn off abs, hdc, and tc all by flipping one switch.
Assuming so, if flipping the switch back then turns them all back on, or if codes must be cleared first(I have an Ultragage and a Nanocom).
Neat idea!

If you had option B all you’d have to do is unplug it. 3 Amigo heaven as soon as you turn the key.

Vs other vehicles out there the TC on the D2 is really no where near as sensitive. Off road it does it’s job excellent. On the highway I’ve never had it come on say when driving in the rain. My work truck = TC and ABS pulsates constantly the entire drive in the rain for example.

I’ve drifted a D1/D2 a few times & I can tell you right now doing that on a regular basis & you’ll be swapping TC’s out often.
