Default Oven Cleaner - CAUTION

Be VERY CAREFUL using oven cleaners on aluminum components. Many contain sodium hydroxide (lye) as an active ingredient, which will attack aluminum. Aluminum die cast operations often use a hot NaOH solution to dissolve aluminum from the runners and ports of their steel molds during cleaning and PM operations.
