ACE pumps are a different critter, some came brand new out of the box, some were noisy, mine is 14 years old and can not be heard with the hood up, I do however flush the system every 15,000 miles and run synthetic p/s fluid in it.

lol that probably means your not likely to sell it ah? :/
But considering how clean your engine bay is, Im not surprised that the system is quit and healthy

I so would trade my 1999 Saab 9-5 straight up for a used ACE system!!!!

Because it costs more than that to fix it WHEN it breaks, you can maintain it all you want, it WILL break due to age.
The ACE pipes alone are half the value of the truck and you cant buy them in the US, they have to be ordered from the UK.
The ACE pipes rust, then leak and you have to replace them or by-pass the ACE pump.
No matter how much money you waste on fluid and fluid changes you will not change the fact that the pipes are steel and they will rust, unless you never drive you truck or live where they dont use salt on the roads.

Ok, I did some searching because I was curious, the pipes are NOT as expensive as I had last heard.
Valve block to rear ram approx. $300USD + shipping from the UK, thats off of ebay.
Valve block to front ram approx. $282USD + Shipping from the UK off of ebay.
The front and rear rams are approx. $125 each, again, ebay UK.
I have no idea how much shipping would be, the last item I bought off of ebay from the UK was the size of a pancake and weighed in under 5lbs and it still cost $60 for shipping and took 2 weeks.

Do a Google search, the ACE pipes rusting out is a common thing.

I love my ACE system. Corners better than my little corolla passenger car (not exactly a sports car). Also I have never even heard my ACE system. Never even knew they make noises until I read this thread. (Knocking on wood as we speak).

I don't think I would scrap the system because of one leak. But to each their own.

Thank you Spike555 you got it right. I love my Rover have owned it for 6 months now and have done a butt load of work to it myself. I'm not nocking the system and the previous owner took care of it. The pipe rusted at the hanger below the passenger side door. I would like to get it fixed but don't have the molaw at the moment, due to all the work I have down. So some one said I can get the replacement lines online at ebay, is that true.

I posted links to the lines off of ebay, you cannot get them local, you must order them from the UK.
