Question Dash on the rise..

Anyone fixed this dash issue? I haven't seen any threads on it. If so do you mind sharing your experience? What should I do/not do. Glue used? etc.. I want a strong fix but I don't want to see any sticky/dried up glue.

Any input would be helpful!
Thanks!

Go to Atlantic British website search for D1 dash kit. It’s like 54.00 for the britpart version of the LR dash kit (D1 & D2 dashes are nearly identical). Get the black one, and install it. Then sit back and never worry about it peeling up ever again from the front! I’ve installed several into a few customer D2’s now and even my 04 D2 (pics of the dash kit are in the build thread forum).

I swapped the crappy screws out for the same length sheet rock screws & not only do they look better, but they were MUCH easier to screw into the hard plastic below the soft dash upper.

Best4x4 - when you did your install, what did you use to drive them in? low profile right angle air ratchet?

I used a small little 1/4 ratchet/ bit driver kit. It was 10.00 at wally world and it’s come in handy more than once so far with trim & very tight spaces.

Year & miles have nothing to do with the dash curling. 94-04 D/D2 will all do it eventually. If it starts to curl just get the kit & call it a day.
