Thanks.
Thanks having a DDIN is great and allows for a much needed rear view camera! I think I may have a paint that is very close to the 03/04 black... Its been too cold in my shop to get it to lay properly but it seems like duplicolor black caliper paint may be just close enough.

but nice job!

I was content to wait for Check Engine light.
If the temps rise, the AUX fan will come on and you can hear it.
Then I connect the scanner.
No reason for two clocks since my aftermarket radio displays one at all times. And you cant hear the aux fan kick on when you have mud terrains!

Finally made some good progress on this project! I have been waiting patiently for Pioneers new NEX radios to come out and I was able to pick one up last week. I got the NEX7000... Seems great so far but I havent had too much time to play with it. It is way smoother operating than my previous AVIC Z130 and more like a smart phone when it comes to the touch commands.
Pics (I have dropped my phone numerous times now and it seems like my camera is getting worse )

Not 100% done yet with this project yet though... I still have the aux1 headphone jack and usb1 are just hanging from under the radio. I want to find a toyota usb/aux jack to use so I can mount it on the console. Likely next to the cig lighter if there is enough room.
Pic for reference

The D1 switches are wired into the clock wiring so the backlights turn on with the rest of the dash lights. The clock also has an ignition wire that I used for one of the switches (no use for this switch yet though). The other two I plan to use for a future locker upgrade so their power input will be activated by the CDL light. I still need to reface all of them but for now they will remain as is.

Looks nice. Great job of meshing stuff to the interior.
