Default Dealer quote

Hey I was just wondering if these prices seemed fair to everyone-> 670 for windshield, 200 installation; 200 to replace wiring to transmission; 350 to take radiator off to replace sensor. I don't have much of a choice with the windshield because the dealer is the only place that will guarantee it won't leak anymore, but it seemed high to charge $350 to take the radiator off and replace a sensor. Thanks in advance- Jake.

What is their hourly labor rate?

If you give me your model and year, I can look up the operation for radiator R&R and see if they are in-line with the industry standard.

I would suggest you call an auto glass shop to get a price quote to replace your windshield.
Why do you have to remove your radiator?

I went ahead and haad them do it. The radiator needed to be removed to get to some sersor for the transmission that was making the light come on. The windshield is in and its perfect so even though it was expensive ($1500 in all) it was worth it to have the disco back with zero problems. Thanks for the responses- Jake.

You know, you can have a heated windshield installed in to a Disco for under $900, the radiator can be moved to install a switch for less then an hours labor??
You made some service writer happy.

Geez, We are back to dealer bashing? How do you move a rad to install a sensor?
Looks like a happy customer with a guarantee and a fixed vehicle. What's wrong with that?
