Hi FND, IMHO everyone, including myself, must be at least slightly 'cuckoo' to race motorbikes, unfortunately Joey Dunlop having survived multiple races and accidents in Ireland, Europe and the UK including the TT finally succumbed in an unknown race in Eastern Europe, Estonia I seem to recollect in the wet. Some of the finest have died and some survived, the problem being, in your youth you believe you are invincible until the big crash occurs, often an error of judgement, then you're either very lucky and survive or you're dead. Many of my contemporaries survived but a few tragically died in races. c'est la vie!
