Nice story but i am not impressed with my disco 03 front bumper. I barely rubbed up to a rear bumper of some other ford piece of crap and i cracked my front bumper.i definately am looking for a kangaroo bar. Does your LR have bars? Caleb

 

you hit a deer with the plastic POS bumper on your disco and suffered NO DAMAGE?! i cant go over a friggin' speed bump without losing another piece of plastic off the front of my disco. (ok, i will give you that i do drive like and idiot and frequently do stupid stuff off-road but geez, it plastic...)

i "fixed" the plastic on my front bumper by tearing off the plastic down to the metal and installing a high-lift jack to mine... better approach angles and a convenient place to store my jack.

 

Pilsner, do you have a pic of your bumper? I would like to see what you have done...
