I'm in the same boat, my black tank just started venting from the seam, caught it very early thank God. any feedback on the aftermarket white one AB carries for forty six bucks with cap ?

I ended up going with the white one from
Rovah Farm as he had some other parts I needed and his tank was a pretty good deal too. I am putting it in tomorrow. But it looks to be a fine replacement.

Our black tank on our 1997 D1 got about 150K before it went out.
And I was out of town.
The W got it fixed - and wow did we pay dearly for a white tank.
I was worried about an overheat over a stupid cracked black tank.
You gotta get this dealt with ASAP.

just put in the aftermarket white / translucent one from AB, 46 bucks with cap. Definitely cheaper in look and feel than the OE one, but seems to be working just fine and holding pressure. Will be keeping a watchful eye on it tho
