Default DI wiper arm on DII Problem

Happy New Year Everyone!!

On my 04' I have the DI wiper arm conversion with the bosch Icon blades and they don't clean the windshield exactly at eye level. I had slightly bent the arm when I installed as I believe I had read to do somewhere here.

Any suggestions???

What do you mean at eye level? What size blades do you have on it? I put two different sized blades and found that this worked best for me - I think 19" and 20", but am not sure. I can measure if you'd like.

I've had bad luck with "modern" style wiper blades not wiping the window near the middle of the blade. I put them on my TL(which uses some huge blade like a 26" or something) and I replaced them with cheap old fashion blades.

Try adjusting the tension of the arms against the window. I had to loosen mine a little, surprisingly, to get the best results.

Yeah it could be these new high tech blades without the springs that the old blades use. The icon doesn't have a spring rather uses the curve design of the blade to hold it to the window. I'll go back and try the old school ones.
