This has the whiff of a scam. New member. Four posts total, all today offering to sell a Nanocom for $75. Red flags galore.

Its not a scam. I posted it in different threads because I want to get rid of it. I have no use for it. Sold my land rover and so I have a $400 device sitting around but think what you want. I would never scam someone especially over $75. 😒

Sure, and that Nanocom is sitting in my Discovery now. Erica was fantastic at providing the information I requested, and shipped the same day.

I just returned mine ( newest version and updated software of NT530) because no one could help me with it even seller who tried their best but finally said contact Foxwell who never replied after a week.. it doesn't recognize my ViN on D2 2003 and manual mode it says vin is invalid and ABS says no communications to SLABS even though my RWS Amigo sees it and clears codes... also cannot power-bleed with it... so im moving up to Nanocom evolution it seems...

@dparham ... Are you sure your OBD port wiring is good? Have you tried another diagnostic tester to verify it could be bad?
Sad to hear the NT530 isn’t up to par like the 510 or 520.
I use my NT510 more in my wife’s 2011 BMW X5 than my Disco 2 since I also have a Nanocom for it.

Hi Juke, i have the RWS Amigo and it works and clears amigos and codes... so Im assuming that the foxwell NT530 was either not functioning properly or needs unavailable updates... could not auto Vin or manual but could manually enter the screens but could not power bleed or communicate with SLABS... i HAD an 00070 SLABS unit.. bought another used guaranteed unit from a supplier off ebay with 100% and tons of landy sales so assuming it worked but got the exact same messeges.. no communications with SLABS but my RWS Amigos worked.. again perfectly clearing any codes... ironically the :22 gnd fault went away also... maybe due to new slabs but Im assuming i need program the new slabs or make some changes like if it had ACE or other things...... at this moment I returned the NT530 and considering a nanocom...

You have to choose the Discovery 2 manually, it can't automatically identify the VIN. Please confirm the path: LandRover--Manual selection--Discovery--1998-2004--ABS, if the path is correct but got "ABS says no communications" again, please feedback again.

Yep. That's what I do also when using my Foxwell NT510 on my Disco 2.
