Does anyone know the diameter of the lower radiator hose on a 96 Disco? I don't want to disconnect it just to measure and my dealer didn't even know.

 

Go to any auto parts store and they can look up the hose by part number.

 

Tried that, they are morons. I just need the diameter of the hose then tell them what size heater I need instead of them pretending to be mechanics and looking it up and saying Rovers don't list the size of the hose. My Rover dealer here in Alaska didn't even know the size and never has parts in stock so they can't measure it. I'll just have to disconnect it, I was just trying to avoid it if I could..

 

Lower hose ID is 1 1/2 inches. Thanks for the help.
