Good luck with this. I just had my timing cover/oil pump and everything else in there replaced at like 162k. My D2 is in the death vin range. got the kit from BpUtah, and after 1,500 miles on it, so far so good.

FWIW a good local Rover shop here (Performance Rovers) said recently that they have been finding a lot of cracked oil pumps just waiting to let go. My water pump is still original at 150,000+ and I'll be doing the oil pump at whatever point the water pump needs to be replaced. Or maybe I'll do both proactively when I run out of other repairs to do. Hah!
