God I love craigslist. I've been trying to find an 03 or 04 front bumper cover for some time now as mine is smashed to pieces. I need to begin my project to convert the front end headlights and bumper from the 01 I have to the 04 style, I already have everything else except the bumper cover until yesterday when I noticed a guy just listed an 2000 SE for parts as it has a bad tranny. Turns out the front drive shaft exploded and poked a hole in the transmission, imagine that!!
Long story short, he sent me a picture of the crack/small hole in the front bumper cover and said he'd take $50 for it. SOLD! And when I arrive? Granted, this was a 2 1/2 hour one way trip to Mobile AL, the employee tasked with taking off the front cover had also set aside all of the mounts, front fog lamps, and connections! Walked away with all of it for $50! BOOM!
It was a 300 mile 5 hour round trip so add $80 for the fuel, (I didn't even bring any tools on the road trip)! Haha! Still, $130 total and I'm pretty happy.

.... Nice to get some money in your favor sometimes when dealing with rover parts and repairs !
