Default Did i just ruin my disco?

ok......after being super careful with all my maintenance and work....i realized i did the stupidest thing.....

i put in rotella t triple protection instead of t5 or t6.....

have driven about 100-200miles like this.....just do an oil change or am i in more trouble than i think?

my knowledge of oil is once u go synthetic, u never go back....so, i am at a loss.....

so, unless i am doubly stupid and rotella t triple protection is synthetic.....

realizing in my rush to pick up parts, i didnt pay close enough attention and since they had the 1gal jugs in the synthetic section, i just bought it.....

thanks for reading

You are fine, you can go from syn to dino and back again, you can even mix the two as you fill the engine to make your own syn blend.
You can even mix brands, and viscosity and not hurt anything.

As long as you only put motor oil in your motor you are fine.

Rotella 15w40 is one of the best conventional oils you can buy for your truck, worry about the driveshaft.
