Did jag make the engines in 01 discos?

I think engines were maybe bmw or jag. Does anyone know for sure in the 01 discovery.

NAS Disco I & II had the Land Rover modified Buick AL V-8 engine.

I know my 03 Disco has a BMW Bosch engine. I am not sure if that helps this post or not.

Almost, NAS DII has a Buick V-8 with a Bosch Fuel system.

Well, it sounds much cooler to say that it has a BMW motor and not a Buick motor
