When did you last replace your fuel filter?
Check for vacuum leaks, dirty t/body or idle control unit.

Click on the link and download the RAVE manual. It will tell you everything you need or want to know about your Disco.

Remove and clean your idle air control valve, also know as the stepper motor.
It is closest to the opening on the throttle body.
When these get really dirty or go bad your truck wont idle.

You need to clean the throttle body and the stepper motor (idle air control), that is what controls your idle speed.
If it is to dirty or bad it wont let the truck idle, if you hold your foot on the gas and keep the RPM above 550 she will run all day long.
Do you know the last time it had a tune up?
Are you using premium gas?

Just bought it so haven't had a tuneup yet. Pretty sure the guy before me ran regular but I'm on my first tank of premium. Ordering a manuel so I'll clean the stepper as soon as I get it in

You dont need the manual to clean the stepper motor, it is on the front of the throttle body, closest to the opening.
Unplug it, remove the two screws and soak it with carb cleaner, also clean the opening it goes into.
DO NOT turn the plunger or move it in any way.
You can take a toothbrush to it, also the opening.
Put it back, plug it back in.
Done.
Also read the "how to clean a t-body" thread on the top of the page.
