I have seen some 1/01 build dates that still had the t/case required.
Mine is a April 2001 and I still had the nipple as well, easiest is to simply crawl underneath and have a "feel". I dont think the date of manufacture (unless its late 2001) will have much bearing on it, it will also depend on how long they took to get from here (uk) to there and then being registered.
An April build date surprises me caiuse that is the second to the last month for the build on 2001's.
Ahhh, well it would depend on whether we are actually on about the same thing. Mine was physically "built" in late 2000, but was registered (actually bought) in April 2001.

So you may well be correct Mike.....its just over here we take the year / ageof the vehicle as to when it was registered, as far as actually being put togther, that could be months apart.

When determining what may have been put on a build sheet, that date is the only date to be concerned with.
So you are saying you don't have a build date of April then, couldn't see how you could.

I agree, but over here " most" people never have a clue when their car was actually put together, they probably never see a "Build sheet" , they only ever know the registration date when it was first bought new. Cars may be built and stored for months before actually being purchased and registered.
