99LR, if you do meet spike555 just remember to say away from his LR. I would say he is pretty sensitive about it, LOL

Live in Gaines, but its near 10 miles from flint. google maps says near 3 hours. But i'm going on a ledge here and going to say your pretty experienced with the discovery so i'd love to make my first time out with you since we've been on the forums for a year now.

Well as you know I am in GR, which is also 3hrs from *******, but we go up there a couple of times a year to go off roading and sledding.
If you were to come to GR we would have to drive a hour or so to get to any plce to go off roading.
However, if you are planning on coming here sometime anyway, and wanted to get together that is more than fine with me.
The "Tin Cup" is a fun trail, not to challenging but great for a first timer, sand, deep ruts, gravel and usually lots of critters.

I usaully have no reason to be over there, but I need the experience, and i'm up for any drive to do so. We will have to plan some things this summer. If i'm "good" enough, perhaps take along with you to *******. Do you bring a few buddies? make a thing out of it, or is it a family deal?

Well my mom is a school bus driver and her husband is a teacher, so they go to their vacation/retirement home in Waters.
We will spend a long weekend up there with them, bring the kids and go swimming, off roading, canoe, etc.
No cell phone (no service), no internet, no nothing, its awesome.
Hundreds of miles of trails, the Air National Guard Air Gunnery Range in your back yard, you can go and watch then shot at and blow stuff up with A-10's and the like.
Once we move we will only be a hour or so away from there, I cant wait!! Only 10 years and counting.
But to answer your question, no I dont go with buddies, as I already stated I dont have any.
Yes it is a family thing but that is no big deal.
You come over for the day, we off road all day and take it from there.
