Default Differential lock plug, spring & ball

Differential lock plug,spring & ball-o4-transfer-case.jpg
02 discovery without cdl.
Picked up an 04 transfer case last year and just got around to resealing it and hopefully next week swapping it in.
I assumed to the right of the Differential lock warning lamp switch there would be the differential lock plug, spring & ball.
As U can see in the pic there is another Differential lock warning lamp switch there.
My question is did someone swap it out?
Thanks
Micko

I would love to hear what you found out. I have a similar situation with a 2004 T/case transplanted into my 2003 Disco.

They have two warning lamp switches, one may be for the audible chime on '04? It's a different indication/warning system than the previous years. Red versus amber lights supposedly. Rave doesn't seem to show second switch in the WDM.

I believe that one switch is for the diff lock and the other is for the transfer box neutral warning. Both lights are amber on my 04.

So when I go to hook it up to my 02, Ill connect the one on the left (Differential lock warning lamp switch) & disregard the other.
I assume there will be a connection for the differential lock warning lamp switch on the 02
Thanks again guys
Micko
