Default Differential question

I should probably know the answer to this but I'll ask anyway. Are the axle third members the same on D1s and D2s? I know about the different flange for the rear with rotoflex but that's not a problem since mine has a u-joint there. I'm thinking of finding cheap third members and having them set up with gears and lockers as I can afford to. So far I have found third members on ebay ranging from $100 - $250 depending on what year they came from and the mileage. I figure that the housing itself doesn't wear, just the internal parts. I want to go to 4.11 gears in the axles with more than likely Trutracs front and rear.

same across the board... even p38s are the same, aside from rears on p38s are 4 pin, all disco are 2 pin. but front and rear will swap fine, and yes, youll have to change the flange
