Listen to spike... get a tranny from over sea's... I lived in Paris and had a Range rover with the 4.0 engine mated to a 5 speed.... i drove it for two years....p38's WOULD NOT be my choice of car dealing with Paris traffic.... but the 5 speed worked well (when my truck wasn't overheating in rush hour traffic....). I just really liked the idea of owning a 5 speed Range Rover... I even thought about bringing it back to the states... but decided against it based on price.... but I know the 5 speed trannies are available... and can be thrown in a 4.0 ltr... disco/P38.... just sayin...
