story : during my cross country drive before x-mas the wife drive exactly and hour and 4 minutes. during that hour and 4 minutes she got one speeding ticket and broke the rover.

the trip took 59 hours and change so she has a HORRIBLE ratio...

 

This is why I keep 3 disco IIs.

The 2000 SD is mine, it is stripped, with no sunroofs, plus the sturdy vinyl interior and it is old faithful, been to the edge of the abyss and back. This one lives outside.

The 2004 SE7 is hers, it was purchased to replace the 2001 SE7, which is also hers. But it was decided that we keep it as a spare in case the other two gets a case of morning sickness, one never knows with British technology. These two stay inside the garage.

 

Yes us men seem to be a tad easier to "dial in" LOL

 

You know what, now that you mention horrible ratios,
first time she "stole" it, broke the wiper arm. The Mrs decided to snap it to clear the ice, which proceeded to break the dog gone thing!
That was with zero miles! Never left the driveway!

Do I see a pattern...

 

But at least she didn't get it stuck in a lake. I think that offsets a lot of negative ratio.

Am looking at buying a Disco....and to here and my daughter in it......and you know what she said to me??????

We havent bought it yet and you are already "asking" to borrow the Disco. Why do you THINK I am getting this,
...she said...for us?...and I said no, for me...I am buying you your own car.

My wife took the disco this morning to take the kids to school. I asked here why she didnt take her car and she said her car does not have heated seats.

 

Dont get me started on heated seats! Her last car (A4) had them, none in vehicle now, thats been a delicate topic...

Starting to think she dont like her vehicle, hmmm
