Default DII Transfer Case FIll plug Size?

I couldn't find a thread on what size the D2 fill plug was. I need to purchase a wrench to undue the drain plug but was hoping you guys may already know the exact size to get.

Thanks

it is a 1/2 drive, use a 1/2 drive extention just insert the extention into the plug. I found a 1/2 drive extention with a 1/2 drive universal on the end works nicely it lets to reach up over the top of the crossmember.

Hmm. That's what I had read but a 1/2 inch drive won't fit into the end of the bolt. PO must have replaced the fill plug with a solid bolt.

buy a $20 garden pump sprayer at Homedepot fill it with 90wt pump it up and crawl under the truck you can reach right over the top of the crossmember right into the fill hole.
Just take the spray nossle off the end, works great no 90 wt runnung down your arm and you dont have to hurcules to sweezing the bottles.
