Disabled the ace system - how long
Hose near ACE Pump leaking. The red ACE light flashed and chimed. Stopped Car. ACE tank was almost empty. Steam coming out. Filled up ACE tank with Hydrolic Fluid. I use the green Febi Bilstein Made in Germany. Started car. Red ACE light went away. Fault on Nanocom says low pressure. cleared fault. All faults cleared. No lights.
I disconnected the battery. Replaced the ACE BELT with a NO ACE belt. I pulled Rely 14 inside the fuse box near the battery. Then started on the car.
The yellow orange amber light came on... But the car is driving.. There are no other leaks. I don't know if the system is in "locked bars" mode or not.
My question is:
How long can I drive the car safely with the yellow amber warning light and the pump disconnected before the car decides to shut down on the side of the road?

I’ve been driving with #14 pulled and running a non ACE belt for a couple hundred miles. The only thing I have noticed is a little more body roll, and I mean very little. I am not sure if lock bars mode only happens when there is a belt on the pump and a relay in #14?
I am going to drive mine until I get new actuators but as it drives now I am not worried about it. But your truck will not shut down or stop running with #14 pulled and a non ACE belt I can promise you that.

With #14 pulled the bars are locked. The NO ACE belt prevents the pump from turning so no harm done. The truck will handle differently with the bars locked. Much to the detriment IMHO.
