Default Disabling ace

My ace valve block is leaking, if I pull the fuse or relay will it still leak. If it ran dry would this still put the vehicle at risk of fire.Im aware the dash light will come on. I'm waiting till I have time to attempt a seal renewal but I'll still need the motor in the mean time.
Any advice(relevent) will be appreciated If its not relevent at least make it funny!🤣

You could pull the fuse/relay and install a non-ACE serpentine belt so the pump is no longer being driven.

Mine was leaking and it was determined (by an excellent LR independent shop) that the aluminum valve block and the steel lines corroded badly with the aluminum too badly pitted for the seals to work. I found a company in the UK that sold rebuilt/remanufactured ACE blocks. https://www.designdevelopmenteng.co....ded-p389433934

I installed it and mine works great!! It has all new parts, valves, electrics and fittings. Just carefully measure and cut your existing steel lines, mount and install the new one.

Works great!

Well I'm hoping the new seals will do the job, the pipes are in pretty good nick as is the valve block. Even if I can get more time out of it to save up to do what you've done I'll be happy.
