Default Disadvantage of the Terrafirma steering rods?

One of my tie rod end failed so I am going to replace the whole set and when searching for parts I came across the Terrafirma set. The ends are said to be greasable, which is a plus too:

I am not a permanent off-roader, only from time to time (but then fully loaded with 5 people, camping gear, kayaks on the roof aso.).

Is there a disadvantage using these on the road except their higher weight?

@Discorama Nope even the weight is marginal really, it will make little or no difference to your fuel mileage or component wear

Just put them in mine and they work great. They are a little bit heavier but I dont think it would contribute at all to performance. Greasable ends are a definite plus

I’ve had mine on for almost a year. the rods are already rusting and the tie rod grease boots are split in half.
Aaaargh!
