Default Disapprearing Discos

Did a car search on Autotrader for Land Rover Discoveries, 100 mile radius from Portland Or., and found only 1 for sale. Does this mean that the value should rise for all surviving Disco's?? Will price of parts go up??

Dave, you are right. On craigslist Portland, there are no less than 25 Discos for sale. Nearly all for less than $8,000. Too old to finance, I believe.

Cash in hand always works wonders on a CL deal.

Not to be rude, but one should not finance a Disco. If you don't have the cash in hand and another few thousand laying around for when it needs work, you shouldn't buy one.

Get your financing lined up first, then look for a $10,000 2004 D2 if the ones on craigslist are to old and cheap. Surely you could find one at a "pay here" used car lot as that's were many D2s languish.
