never had a pad w/ a sensor wire in the pad!! brakes are new and came w/ the trade, but no attachment point that i can tell. replaced the front 4 pads and in the box only one pad had the sensor. any idea what it was for?? maybe used on another vehicle that the pads also fit? or the disco sensor was ripped out!!

 

The only senor for the brakes on a DI is the ABS sensors.

 

Yes, cut the wire, it's not needed on a D1

 

yeah, they gave you pads for a range classic, theyre the same minus the sensor, you should be fine
