This is longtallsally's rover (since he's havin issues posting pictures)...no bike trailer in sight.
My rover with gas on rear door. Usually fill at last/closest gas station to the woods. Steel cans, very tough and don't leak even when upside down. The way the frames rot out on these things, you're more likely to have the rover gas tank explode...in a rear end collision.
Thanks! The bike is on an Ultimate MX Hauler. Makes loading the bike a joke. It’s also why I love the airbags in the rear- levels it out nicely and combined with ACE makes handling much better.

Thanks for the bike hauler make. Can you help me understand how you load the bike onto the hauler? Feel free to PM me as to not muddy the thread.
It’s part of camping for me, so I think applicable...
It is easy peasy- you just hip the bike onto the “platform” in the same manner you do for a stand in your garage. Then there is a bottle jack that you simply jack up and it has a couple safety’s to keep it there. It’s so easy it’s cheating. My wife got it for me as a birthday present a couple years ago and I should have gotten the dropped version as I need to use a hitch extender on both the Jeep and the Disco, but it’s definitely stable enough (5k miles with it?). I had the Harbor Fail one and it tore just like the reputation it has after an aggressive dirt road drive.
