2003 4.6 Disco 2 .Can the larger hose under the expansion tank to the water pump be replaced by itself or do you have to replace that whole octopus assembly of hoses it connects to . The hose has a small split right at the lower clamp, I wouldnt mind replacing it all but Im planning on doing a inline tstat and new water pump. I just cant do the inline and WP job right now. Hoping I can just by the one hose to get me by for a bit . I may even be able to cut the split section off (about an inch to cut off) and reattach the hose?

 

I figured it out.....just cut the end off the hose reconnected it....done. When I do the inline tstat Im replacing all the hoses as the ones on there are at the end of their service life for sure.
