Default Disco 2 Hesitiation Problem

I've owned my 99 Disco 2 for almost a year and have yet to have any problems at all. Yesterday I drove up to the gas station and everything was fine. Five minutes later when I came back out the check engine light was on (first time I've ever seen it) and it had an awful hesitation. When you first start the car you can put the gas to the floor and it bogs down but doesn't die.

I ran the codes and got these:

P0174
P0171
P0102
P1884
P1171
P1174

Any help would be appreciated! I've read that the MAF can be cleaned, and I've read that it can't... If it can't be cleaned how will I know if its the MAF thats causing the problem?

Yes you can clean the MAF, but only as long as you use MAF cleaner and follow the directions on the can.
Then clean the throttle body and idle air control valve with carb cleaner, the IACV is that thing in the middle of the U shaped hose on the intake.

Try cleaning it when stone cold, if it doesn't work ,buy a new matching MAF from BPoU which should then allow you to clear all those codes.

Ran down to O'reilly's and spent $6 on a can of MAF cleaner and she runs better than ever!

Everytime you change the air filter clean the MAF, thats what I've started doing.

Jaguars are highly susceptible to this issue too. It was a tri-monthly maintenance item for me.

So bad news. I got into the car this morning, it started up fine and I got about a block away and it died. I started it up again and had to rev it up to get it to start and then it died immediately. The battery light comes on when it dies, which made me think alternator, but I can still start the car fine and the battery still has juice. Yesterday it did start to bog down a little bit around 35 mph but that only happened once and it lasted around 3 seconds. Once again any help or ideas are appreciated, and I appreciate you guys helping a broke college kid out this weekend.

How many miles?
Fuel pumps die maybe 140K miles and up.
But the pumps are rated for HOURS of runtime.
If the rover was sitting idling in traffic then the mileage may be lower for the fuel pump to die.
