Excuse me for not being that technical.

I have a Discovery 2 (1999 I think) which has the following fault.
- The key fob will only un-lock the doors, and not lock them.
- If you press the internal button on the dashboard, it all works fine.
- If you use the key in the drivers door lock, it only operates the lock on the drivers door, and no-other.
- Not sure if this has any relivance, but the interior light doesn't come on anymore when you turn off the engine, but it does when you open the door.

Thanks for your prompt reply. The spare doesn't work either, so I've assumed it wasn't the battery
