Crawl under, find what size socket and wrench you need and do it, this is not rocket science, you should find it pretty straight forward.

The nice thing about a forum like this is that it can possibly help someone that even after trying to figure oout there problem can't make sense out of it.
Well, if steps need to be removed, I would crawl under with a couple of wrenches and remove it, not ask how to do it.
I think alot of people find answers to their question when on this site, but it does require a little help on your part.
I hope in the future, if you have a problem, that you have spent some time. looking at it from all angles , this will help you explain in more detail what is going on and give us something to work with.
Take care,
Mike
