Normally, the MAF will not keep the Dll from starting. Usually, they will idle...butnot accelerate.

Sounds like you've done quite a bit, so l'm surprised something hasn't jumped out at you yet. I'd verify spark on an entire bank. You say you verified fuel prssure...was this with a guage at fuel manifold?

Hi The Deputy, yes I did the pressure test with a gauge underneath the intake. I checked spark in all of the plugs. All of them have spark when cranking the car. I’m out of ideas here except for the camshaft position sensor. Is the only thing I haven’t replaced yet or even touch it. Is a pricey sensor though. What kills me is that she was running so good and then suddenly this happened. Is been like that for the past month or so. Second time with this symptoms.

I don’t have one to swap. I barely see any disco 2 around here lol. Well I will play with the camshaft sensor and go for there, it actually looks pretty dirty and over there. So to replace the camshaft I just have to take the oil filter off and the panel underneath the car? I don’t have to take the fan off?

You said you played with the throttle position sensor and ran fine for a bit.
You said you now smell a lot of fuel when cranking
try a new sensor or mess around with it again. Maybe it’s flooding the engine

Yeah, didn't we have someone here just recently with same issue. Had fuel pressure at rail and good spark...ended up being his ECU. Wasn't sending pulse signal to injectors or spark wasn't happening at correct moment or something like that?
