I just purchased a Disco 03 the back doors will not unlock using the electronic locks. I have use the door handle to unlock it. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

sounds like your actuators are bad. Do they move at all when you unlock the vehicle?

yeah, sounds like it. I think they are cheap, but tricky to install. Haven't done one, though.

Mine does that too on occasion. A little WD-40 sprayed into the lock mechanism seems to fix it.

Hi

I have just replaced my passenger door actuator what a night mare to get in and out, someone at the design stage of the Discovery decided it would be a great idea to put the actuator behind the window channel. you should be ok doing the back door as the windows is fixed.. LOL
