Lightbulb Disco came with Spectre filter, no stock air box. Question.

My used disco came with the white Spectre cone filter. The stock air box was gone and the dealer ship said that it was traded into them that way. It seems to run fine with it on, but I've heard the stock air box is the best for the Discos. Should I just roll with the Spectre or buy a used LR air box? What are the cons to the Spectre vs. Stock??

You will get better performance with a factory filter.
If you need one buy a used one from Paul Grant, number is below. He will make a much better deal and for far less then buying a new one from the dealer.

Paul Grants a real nice dude. I would suggest getting a used air box and new air filter.

. Don't worry the rover can out spend Bass Pro I am afraid! My go to guy for used parts is Will Tillery d/b/a ROVAGUY now in Lexington & Richmond, VA based on location, as well as Wilson Abdeau d/b/a Shiyco Rover Parts in Myrtle Beach, SC and Paul Grant d/b/a Classic Rovers in Conn. as mentioned above.

Honestly I'd spend the $200 on a new one. The boxes always crack. If you buy a used one, you'll probably buy another one pretty soon.
