Default Disco I radiator

I sprung a leak in my radiator so I have that $467 beauty to look forward to... My question is, since it's 11 years old (1997 model year), should I replace the water pump (original one is still in there) and the thermostat (cheap), while I'm at it...? Or do the water pumps last a while? She has 106k miles on her. I've been told to stay away from rebuilt radiators and go with the factory equipment. Land Rover Miramar in San Diego was actually $100 less then my personal mechanic ($467 vs. $567). Any thoughts on this or know of a reliable website for comparable units.

Thanks in advance,

Thanks Mike, I will do as you suggest. Question - Any thoughts on after market radiator or water pump...? My gut tells me to step up and go factory equipment and be done with it...

You should post a picture of your vehicle, it sounds sweet.

I would go with a factory water pump but I am not real keen on their radiators.
There have been some great deals on radiators on e-bay from time to time, past that i would call around and talk to different radiator shops about what they might have available as an after market radiator.
Good luck,

I use this radiator. No problems. http://www.performanceradiator.com/index.phpA bit cheaper as well. I'd replace all your hoses too.

My factory rad was complety rotted out from the inside when I bought my 96 SE7 a few months ago. I bought an aftermarket from Roverland Parts and it's been doing fine. Just 2 cents...
