I just bay a discoII 1999 and i instal the front drive shaft. new. but i have a problem wen i drive over 70 mph. start shacking. any help. and how i kent drive it whit the back shaft only it is posible. thanks....

Yes, you can drive your 99 with the front drive shaft removed. You will need to remove the front drive shaft and lock the center differential. There are a number of threads on the forum on how to find and lock. There is a small 10 mm nut as I recall on top of the transfer case just above the front output and just to the center. It will click about 1/4 turn. Good luck. Phil

sorry, I didn't read your post as well as I should have. You may have tires that are over/under inflated, bad shocks, tires that aren't balanced, rear drive shaft issues, front drive shaft issues (although it sounds like you have a new one installed) or the rear rotoflex. Good luck. Phil

 

When was the last time you had your tires balanced and a front wheel alignment done?
