Does anyone know what size speakers are in the lower portion of the door? I have a non-HK system. Also, what's the easiest way to get to them withouth screwing up the door panel?

im not sure of the size but youve got to unscrew the door pannel and pull it away to get to the speakers, unless you pry off the speaker grill, but that will just give you the face of the speaker which probably wont be very helpful

 

The speaker size is 6 1/2 inches. You need a special tool used by all audio install techs to pry the panel with out scratching of breaking the corners. Looks like a curved flat head screw driver. Thats the only tool that wont scratch the edges. Hope this helps.

 

It's strange that the door woofers are larger than the subs in the rear door (6").

 

to be honest your hardly notice the rear subs anyway unless your sitting with the enginge off or you put your hand on the rear reg plate. only when you have the volume realy cranked up can you feel the bass

 

Does anybody know what size the little tweeters on the A pillar are? What about the smaller speakers right in the middle of the door?
