Default Disco II alarm problems and it wont start

Ok, so new becm. new key remote and the truck ran fine until today when the alarm wouldn't disable.
I hit the unlock, the doors unlock but the light on the dash keeps flashing really fast. I tried to cycle the drivers door lock and tried pressing the button under the hood and leaving the key in the ignition for 1 min, tried reseting te key by pressing the lock button 4 times but everytime I go to start the truck, it clicks and the alarm goes off with all the dash lights lit.
Anyone?

Has anyone heard of the1515 lock cycle method to disable the alarm? and if so, should that work with my disco? Also, which fuses should I double check?

Default RE: Disco II alarm problems and it wont start

Even though the lights, radio, clock and all the little goodies powered up just fine through out the whole mess, it was in fact the battery. Sat on the charger the whole night an still only held 10.7 volts. Down to AdvancedAuto and bought a nice 900cca battery with a 3 year warranty for $80 and the problem was solved. I think I will check the alternator this afternoon, please CORRECT me if I'm wrong but it should be putting out about 14.0-14.5 at 2000 rpm right? And once I verify that I will pull the negative battery lead and check for a drain, anyone know the average drain for the accessories?
Thanks
