Default Disco II Back Seat

Need to remove my rear seats. May seem a silly question, but any trick to it, or just take out the four big Torx bolts?

Yes, 4 bolts for each seat.

Yes, and you should definitely use a torx socket. I did it with an torx key and I was bleeding for a while! The 60 is definitely a heavy seat too, be careful not to scratch your dogleg when removing/reinstalling. When reinstalling, not that it's a huge deal, but torque specs are 45nm/33lb.ft.
I believe the torx bit to be a size T45.

Speaking of back seats. Can you easily add the back seats to another disco II

This thread was discussing the 2nd row seats, are you referring to the 3rd row? (since all Discos came with 2nd row seats). The answer is. . . . .(wait for it) The attachment points are in all models, there was a recent discussion about the liability issues (or lack thereof) involved with doing this. (notice I'm not taking any sides in the previous discussion)

Yes... sorry. I was referring to the 3rd row seat. Liability, eh? I'll look that up

Oh, God. Please don't bring up that thread again. Rhino, I'm going to reiterate this again, because my story actually happened, and KC Disco Guy, well, he's no longer on this forum, so you can glean what you want from that. Ask your insurance company first, and get it in writing. It's that simple.
