Here's a picture:

It looks like you have some rust going on on the undercarriage and suspension. For tire pressure, you'll have to play around a little and find what you're comfortable with. I wouldn't run them at 80 for sure. Full size, 1 tons with a full load run 80 psi. I wouldn't go above 60 personally, and 50 would probably be a good comprise of ride comfort and tire wear.

My new tires are C load range instead of E like yours so my max is 50 psi. I run them at 40 front/45 rear on the highway and it seems like a good combination for my truck/tire setup.

Thanks guys, I have what I need.
By the way, I run 40 pounds all the way around for both ride and better tread wear.

Wouldn't 40 psi on his 80 pound tires still put a lot of wear on the tires, particularly the outside edge of the tread?

I'm guessing the truck in the picture was not originally a CA truck. I would get some rustoleum or something like that and paint all of the rusted areas to prevent or slow the spread. Get the rustoleum that turn rust to primer. It would be time consuming but sure beats the rust eating anything important.

You're correct. It's a NH car. Been debating on what to do with the rust. It's not a big deal, but I would like to stop it from getting worse...
