Default Disco Running Rough When Idling

Hopefully someone could help on this.

I have a Discovery 2 with about 93k miles. The check engine light kept coming on. When I brought it to the dealer, they indicated that the the Mass Airflow Meter was bad. I was able to get another Meter and installed it.

The check engine light still comes on. Now it runs a little rough when idling. While driving it seems fine.

Took it to my local mechanic. He indicated that it looked like one of the oxygen sensors may not be working. He said the engine was running lean.

I took it to the Land Rover dealer to get codes pulled. the indicated that the Mass Airflow Meter and both oxygen sensors were showing up and bad. They indicated that the Mass Airflow Meter could be bad and affecting the oxygen sensors. Could the new Meter also be bad? Could the oxygen sensors be affecting the airflow meter. I still have the old Airflow meter. Could that one still be good.

I am getting confused. If anyone could shed some light on this, it would be greatly appreciated.

I don't mind getting the work done, I just don't want to have to do unnecessary work.

Thanks so much.

So start all over, go get your codes read and stop throwing parts at your truck till you really know what is wrong with it.
Was the MAF new or used??
Get us the 4 digit fault codes and let us help you.

P0130 - Oxygen Sensor Cycle Fault Bank A (Cylinders 1,3,5,7) before the Cat

P0150 - Oxygen Sensor Cycle Fault Bank B (Cylinders 2,4,6,8) Before the Cat

Closest I could get on the P1129 was:

P1130 Oxygen Sensor Fuel Trim at Limit Bank A Before the cat

P0174 - Oxygen Sensor System Too Lean Fault Bank B

P0171 - Oxygen Sensor System Too Lean Fault Bank A

Your front oxygen sensors are toast, and leaning you out.
