thanks. i just browsed the photos and that bumper caught my eye. to me it just doesn't look right on the D2. to each their own, i suppose.

 

yea that and the roof basket are no bueno. The bumper is absolutely horrendous lol

 

Modifications on that one are definitely odd. Those auction sites seem to have unreasonable prices as well.

New to Land Rovers and new to the forum.
Got my hands on a 2000 Disco 2 with 150,000 miles that was parked (for 3 years) due to a coolant leak. Threw in a new battery and determined it was a gasket under the throttle body. FIXED!
I have driven it over 150 miles around Sherman oaks are and the computer still hasn’t reset for SMOG.
Anyways... I’m posting here bc once it passes smog and I get the registration straight I would like to get rid of it.
Does this forum have a classifieds? I’d rather this rig go to a Land Rover enthusiast then deal with Craigslist calls all day.

Craigslist is dead here in Utah - check out https://cars.ksl.com/ Some good deals come up on there. I bought a $500 Disco - (good engine/bad body) and swapped the engine into another $300 Disco (dead engine) I found on FB marketplace. Sub $1,000 vehicle and it's the nicest Rover I have!
