Default disco starting then instantly stalling out

Recent got a 1999 discovery series 2 v8 an on day one I'm having issues when it starts it instantly stalls within half a second of initial start up. I've checked the intake pipe for air leaks I've cleaned the mass airflow meter, had a new key coded for it an also replaced the crank sensor after replacing the crank sensor it ran ok for 2 days an now it has the same issue again really stumped on what to do next. it was supposed to be my daily driver and it was sold as a good running car now I can't get to work any help would be very appreciated.

This is not likely your issue but many years ago I had a vehicle with bad contacts in the ignition switch. It had contact when selected to Start, but bad contact when you released it to Run. It would start then die as soon as you released the switch from Start.

If changing the crank sensor worked once, maybe the wiring connector is loose. Or maybe you bought a lousy crank sensor. I would probably try that again.
