Default Disco Subwoofer Replacement Speaker Question

Does anyone know if a shallow mount 6.5'' speaker will work as replacement speakers for the sub without having to dig a hole in the back of the box for the magnet to fit in?

Here are the speakers I was looking at

http://www.electrawarehouse.com/prod...icker+08CVT654

They are 4 ohm, single voice, 6.5'' shallow mount speakers.

Let me know! Thanks

I just switched mine with Pioneer TS-A1702C. It is separate 2-way set, I just didn't bother with the tweeters. It was a tight fit but I managed to get the door unit back together. They sound pretty good. This set is not a shallow mount set so I don't see any problem with the set you are looking at.

I currently have mine taken out of the back door as I had to get to the tail door actuator to replace the lock. Just got the part in today and it will be raining until Saturday, so if you need me to measure something specifically, let me know exactly what you need and I will measure it. I plan on putting the actuatir in on Saturday when it finally stops raining, so let me know by then.

They should fit if you have the sub woofer housing mounted on your rear door. The 6.5 is the right diameter.
