Default Discovery 2 2003 td5 ecu remap.

Please, could you advise on the best place to perform an ECU remap for a 2003 Discovery 2 TD5 with an automatic transmission to increase power? What are the pros and cons? Are there any firmware updates for the transmission, and is it necessary to do so?

Tornado Systems sells whole a remapped/proprietary ECU for the gasoline engine, but not for the TD5. Messing with the transmission won't increase power.

Alive Tuning seem to do a few things for the TD5: https://www.alivetuning.com/shop/veh...discovery-td5/

TD5inside, Alive, Empire tuning etc, just to mention a few that do TD5's.

If You have access to a Nanocom, You can buy ja tune file from them and flash it Yourself.
You should have a NNN ecu on a 2003.

And no tunes for the autobox.
But people tend to use the V8 torque converter in the TD5 for various reasons.
